Our Spanish school team

Our goal is your improvement in learning Spanish!
W

e are a young team: dynamic, motivated, with lots of ideas and the necessary qualifications to offer a promising and effective learning experience. All of our teachers hold a degree in Spanish linguistics and literature, specialising in teaching Spanish as a foreign language.

We love to work with people from different countries and bring them closer to our language and culture. And this is reflected in our school and our courses. The most important thing for us is a good working atmosphere, since the learning progress is much more effective if you learn whilst having fun.

c2 Management

Laura Esclusa Gasulla – Director

My name is Laura and I have been managing c2 barcelona languages since 2007. I’m Catalan by birth but I always say that I feel “Mediterranean”. I have a degree in Hispanic Studies (UAB) and a Postgraduate Diploma in teaching Spanish as a second language (E/LE). For the last 15 years, I have enjoyed my job teaching Spanish and leading a team of motivated, professional and well trained language teachers. Teaching my own language allows me to fully understand and transmit my own culture.

c2 Administration & Student Service

Ester Nanzig – Office Manager

My name is Esther and I’m from Germany. I have studied Translation in Cologne and in Barcelona. When I first came to Barcelona, I really fell in love with this city. I have now been living here for 7 years and I consider it as my home. I do enjoy my job as an administrator at c2 barcelona languages. It is very interesting and there is a pleasant working atmosphere. I always find it exciting to meet new people from all over the world and to see the progress of our students. In my spare time, I like to travel, love to dance and, from time to time, I just enjoy looking at the sea.

c2's hall of fame

Marta- Spanish teacher

My name is Marta and I am from Ponferrada (León). I have a degree in Hispanic Philology from the University of León. I have completed a postgraduate degree in ELE teaching and a lot of courses related to teaching but, where I have learned the most about my language, Spanish, the culture of Spain and the whole world, is preparing my classes and in the classroom, talking with my students. A wonderful and fulfilling experience in every way. This profession, which is totally vocational, allows me to learn something new every day and never stop being curious. I love this job!

Iván – Spanish teacher

My name is Iván and I am from Madrid. My passion for Russian literature led me to Moscow to learn the language of my favourite writers. There, I also trained and worked as Spanish teacher – Five intense and rewarding years. I came back to Spain, did a Master in Teaching E/LE at the UAH and ended up in Barcelona. I always try to make my classes fun and a place where students share their experiences and enjoy learning language and culture. I love music, getting lost in the city, walking in the mountains and, occasionally, swimming in the sea.

David- Spanish teacher

I am David from Barcelona and I have a degree in Classical Philology. Also, as a hobby, I have studied the ancient civilizations, and, in fact, I have already written three books on this subject. I have been teaching Spanish for 20 years now and the truth is that I am still as motivated as the first day. For me it is still very exciting and satisfying to be able to teach my language and see how students progress a little more every day until they achieve their goals. In my opinion, speaking from the first lesson of level A1, although nothing is known about the language, is the first step to success.
